Registration Fees

For the first swimmer fees are $125, and $100 for each additional swimmer from the same family. Every family is also responsible for a $50 fundraising fee. Registration and fund raising monies go towards hiring coaches, Mountain Hi Swim League fees, mandatory secondary insurance coverage, awards, radios, stop watches, parties, and other costs.

Our Team, Division, and League

Willow Creek I is a member of the Mountain Hi Swim League (MHSL). Our league is governed by a set of rules that closely mirrors United States Swimming (USS) rules. There are 23 teams placed into 4 divisions (A1, A2, B1, B2) based on team size and the team standing from the previous year. We will be competing in the "B1" division this year. The swim league website is available to all families at www.mhsl.org.

Team Membership Requirements

The age of a swimmer as of 12:01 am on June 1 will determine the age group in which the swimmer will compete for that season. Members must possess sufficient ability to assure his/her safety. Swimmers must be at least 4 1/2 years old and be able to get independently across the width of the pool, unaided. No walking, but any other kind of swimming stroke (even dog paddling) is allowed.

Activities

Swim team hosts many activities during the season, such as the Barracuda Bash, Swim Team Soiree, Rockies Game, Bike to Breakfast at My Favorite Muffin, Poker Night, Swim-A-Thon with Pancake Breakfast, Movie Night in the Pool, and more. We’ll keep you informed of upcoming events by way of email.

End-of-Year Banquet

Our final party will be Saturday evening, July 17, after the Championship Meet. We will have a catered dinner, music and awards, etc.

Web Site

The League’s web site is http:\\www.mhsl.org. Information specific to our team will be available here as well. Look for meet schedules, results, activities and much more. We will try to keep this information updated but it does not replace the correspondence file.

Vacation

Please let the coaches know, in writing, when a swimmer will be unable to attend practices or meets. This is extremely important for meet planning!  Coach notification forms are available in the swim team box.
